Agnese Menguzzato is an Italian composer and musician based in Berlin.

With a background in violin and Renaissance lute, she merges historical and contemporary technologies, dissolving their space-time boundaries. Through this interaction, her music becomes an aria dedicated to the atemporality of sound and human gestures.
Her debut solo EP Scusa, released by the Berlin imprint Verlag
, has been described as “an ode to gentleness.”

Menguzzato’s musical expression is rooted in the vivid imagery of her childhood and the quiet confrontation with nature, which she sees as the source of all the human feelings. Growing up amidst the Trentino Alps and the Apennines of Emilia-Romagna, she shapes emotive soundscapes at once concrete and ethereal.

Her live performances have been presented in venues and festivals such as silent green, Volksbühne and CTM Transmediale in Berlin, Norberg festival in Sweden, Cripta747 in Turin, Biennale Musica 2025, La Stella Dentro in Venice.

Menguzzato is the founder of the Spydergum ensemble and has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Sara Persico, Paula Ďurinová and Soho Rezanejad. This year she’ll be featured on two collaborative projects with the labels Unguarded and Other People.
