Agnese Menguzzato is an Italian composer and musician based in Berlin.

With a foundation in violin and Renaissance lute, she has charted her musical path by playing at the intersection of past and current sonorities, often deploying the lute auditory potential.
Her debut solo EP Scusa, released through the Berlin imprint Verlag, has been praised as “an ode to gentleness”.

Menguzzato’s musical expression is rooted in the vivid imagery of her childhood and a profound interaction with nature, from which all human sentiment flows.
Growing up amidst the Trentino Alps and the Apennines of Emilia-Romagna, she draws inspiration from these resounding landscapes to create musical pieces that tap into both the tangible and the ethereal.

Her live performances have steadily gained momentum, taking her across Europe to venues and festivals such as Berlin’s silent green Kulturquartier, Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxembourg Platz, Turin’s Cripta747, and Venice’s Palazzo Trevisan degli Ulivi. Her recent performance at Norberg Festival further solidified her growing reputation in the contemporary music scene.
As a collaborator, Agnese has worked with a wide range of artists, including Sara Persico, Soho Rezanejad, and Paula Ďurinová, and her contributions can be heard on the latest compilation from Berlin’s art and record label Unguarded.
